One World Week runs between Monday 10th to Sunday 16th March 2025!
One World Sussex is a celebration of the diversity of cultures in our community. Run collaboratively by the Students’ Union and the University of Sussex.
It's a series of events which aim to share cultures, raise awareness of global issues and highlight international opportunities for our diverse Sussex community. The inspiration for One World events is to engage, educate and entertain. From raising awareness of global concerns through lectures, to celebrating cultural festivals, from mochi making to Holi, One World Week showcases the best of our campus community spirit. Students have hosted talks from international footballers, politicians, activists and YouTubers to name but a few!
Funding applications close on February 21st 2025!
One World Sussex aims to:
- - develop an appreciation of different cultures
- cultivate an understanding of global issues
- showcase personal development opportunities
- highlight international opportunities for Sussex students and staff from different backgrounds.
